2016 Lake Barrington 'Alexandra' Special Reserve Sparkling: Extended time in 100% new oak post primary ferment before going to bottle for the secondary ferment. Superb mousse and lots of activity in the glass. Lovely colour of old-gold/rose-gold and inviting aromas of brioche, nuts, lemon curd and a hint of Vegemite toast. Rich and sumptuous in the mouth but with the classic Alexandra citrus backbone. Exceptionally tasty sparkling.
