This delightful sparkling is officially known as a Cremant de Bourgogne. It is made from the traditional grapes of burgundydydy which just so happen to be the traditional grapes of Champagne.
It is more-ish to drink being soft, luscious and flavoursome. Notes of vanilla, almond and toasted bread drift through and the finish has a little touch of honey and balanced acid. Dry but not too dry.
