Lowestoft Pinot Noirs

The original Lowestoft vineyard in the Lower Derwent Valley was planted in 1986 from Moorilla Estate cuttings by then owner Bernard McKay. It was basically the front garden of the 1820s Lowestoft colonial mansion. Fogarty Family Wines are the current owners and have partnered with winemaker Liam McElhinney to produce these highly acclaimed wines.
La Maison 2020 Pinot Noir won the James Halliday Trophy for Best Pinot Noir at the 2021 Royal Melbourne Wine Show.
