Lowestoft Pinot Noirs

The original Lowestoft vineyard in the Lower Derwent Valley was planted in 1986 from Moorilla Estate cuttings by then owner Bernard McKay. It was basically the front garden of the 1820s Lowestoft colonial mansion. Fogarty Family Wines are the current owners and have partnered with winemaker Liam McElhinney to produce these highly acclaimed wines.

1 x Norfolk 2019 Single Vineyard Pinot Noir: Fruit is sourced from the Tasman Peninsula. Alluring perfume, exotic spices, the palate is plush but elegant with powdery tannins. Six years bottle age puts it in the perfect drinking zone

2 x Estate 2021 Pinot Noir: Made from small parcels of fruit from lower Derwent Valley vineyards. A finely honed Pinot of great subtlety and charm. Exquisite texture.
