Tasmanian Pinot Noir Tasting MELB Nov 13

On Thursday Nov 13, Pinot Shop founder and owner Michele Round will present 12 of the state's top pinots at an exclusive tasting at Matteo's Restaurant in North Fitzroy.

Tasmanian pinot noir is booming, the quality and diversity growing with each vintage. This is a top lineup of some of the best Tasmanian pinot noirs from small makers rarely seen off the island, or small parcels from big makers that don't travel.

What: 12 Tasmanian pinot noirs including Home Hill Estate, Winstead Lot 16, Laurel Bank, Pressing Matters, Dalrymple Bicheno Block, Freycinet, Kelvedon, Spring Vale, Sinapius, Barringwood Park Mill Block, Tamar Ridge Kayena Reserve, and Velo Willo's Reserve.

When: Thursday November 13, 6-8pm

Where: Al Fresco Room, Matteo's Restaurant 533 Brunswick Street, NTH FITZROY.

Format: This is a standup/casual event but Michele will lead you through the wines on a formal and informal basis. Please time your arrival for as close to 6pm as possible. Matteo's excellent and substantial canapes will be served to accompany the tasting.
