MIXED SIX contains 2 each TMV, STH and Woodlawn Pk Three Wishes Pinots

Ricky Evans is best known for his Two Tonne range of regional Pinots, named after the two tonnes of fruit that he sourced for the first vintage in 2013. At the same time, however, he has been working on producing Pinots from two single sites, produced under the Woodlawn Park label. In this release we are 2022 Two Tonne TMV and Two Tonne STH Pinots, and the first release of the Woodlawn Park Three Wishes Pinot - vintage 2021.

2022 Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Pinot Noir $39: Fruit is sourced from different sites in the Tamar Valley area. Michele's notes: Pretty magenta.  Mulberry, spice and touch of iodine on the nose. Juicy and textural flavour profile, savoury finish with fine tannins.

2022 Two Tonne Tasmania STH Pinot Noir $39: A full-bodied Pinot Noir, reflecting the Coal River and upper Derwent Valley origin of the fruit. Michele's notes: Deeply coloured, quite brooding with dark cherry and anise. Softly but sumptuously textured. Very tasty.

2021 Woodlawn Park Three Wishes Pinot Noir $75: From a single site, the Three Wishes Vineyard on the West Tamar, planted in 2000. Michele's notes: Blood plum and meatiness on the nose; more dark fruits, fresh herbs and candied orange peel on the palate with fine, drying tannins. Lovely persistence.
