Wild Earth 2009 Pinot Noir

Wild Earth is located at the very end of Felton Road in Central Otago's home of luxurious pinot, the Bannockburn sub-region.

This is a quintessential Central Otago pinot, it's got big flavours but is also, cleverly, lively and light on its feet; a result of exceptional balance between fruit, acid, tannins and oak.

The nose has complex aromas of blueberry, blackberry, pepper and orange rind, and these follow through on the palate. There's plenty of depth but it's still an elegant pinot noir, albeit one that will satisfy big pinot fans and also big red drinkers in general.
