Piedmont Red & White Wines

Piedmont is the land of misty hills, truffles and three delicious red grapes - Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba and Dolcetto d'Alba.

Nebbiolo is fragrant with florals, red fruits and gamey hints. It is finely structured and finishes with elegant tannins. It ripens last of these three grapes.

Barbera d'Alba is succulent in a cherry/fruity mode and has a refreshing finish. Oak plays only a little influence, if at all. 

Freisa is the wild and more rustic kin of one of the world’s greatest cultivars, Nebbiolo.An ancient variety found in Italy’s northwestern region of Piedmont, particularly around Chieri, the Monferrato, and the Langhe,

Arneis is a white wine grape variety native to Piedmont, Italy, primarily grown in the Roero zone (across the Tanaro River from the more famous Barolo and Barbaresco areas).
