New Certan Mount Pleasant Pinot Noir is the creation of Kreglinger/Pipers Brook Vineyard chief Paul de Moor, against a background of his family's vinous traditions in France and the special viticultural project at Mount Pleasant established in 2006.

In Australia, there are about 20 clones of pinot in general use, Mount Pleasant has 64 clones of pinot noir genetic material (from 9 countries) on various root stocks. The search is to find the very best combination of clone to site.

Michele's notes: Serene pinot. The aromas are initially muted but mysterious and alluring. The fruit is soft and sweet with flavours that linger. There's more going on here than at first taste and it gets lovelier and lovelier by the minute.
