Established in 1992, Drew is one of the oldest vineyards at Tea Tree in the Coal River Valley. This sub-region is located between Pontville (to the west) and Campania and Richmond (to the east). Robbie Drew has consulted to many vineyards in the area.
Michele's notes: Deep ruby/crimson. Lifted fragrance of dark red roses, cherry and liquorice strap with Dutch cocoa. Hints of cardamom spice and red pepper flakes - all very appealing and sets the scene for the palate.
Vibrant and juicy red cherry/cranberry with stewed satsuma plum and a tasty, salty liquorice tang. Gentle astringency with fine tannins.
