Milton 2022 Pinot Noir

Milton 2022 Pinot Noir

Winery : Milton Vineyard

$44.00 - $480.00

Milton Pinot Noir is produced from grapes grown on Milton's homestead block, planted in 1998, and from the earlier (1992) planted vines grown on the stony red soils of the Cranbrook block. The Milton property was first farmed in 1826 for wool. In 2005 the current custodians Kerry and Michael Dunbabin began producing wines under their own label.

2017 VINEYARD OF THE YEAR AWARD, Royal Agriculture Society of Tasmania

Michele's notes: Ruby/crimson hues with appealing clarity. Fragrant as always with red cherry, punchy red currant, white pepper and anise, along with a note of petrichor/wet stone. Sweet but lively fruit floods the palate. The lingering flavours move hints of musk sticks, tangello and baked rhubarb. Perfect pinot poise in a very stable package.
