Rare pinot noir release from the maestro of bubbles Dr Andrew Pirie and his exquisitely tended vineyard at Lebrina in Tasmania's north-east.
Michele's notes: Deep in colour, intense magenta. Dark raspberry, mulberry exotic spice, mushroom, umami... This is quite a bold pinot noir for Apogee's north-easterly locale and shows off the unique qualities of the protected vineyard site. Dark berry fruits and salty/caramel notes at the finish. Very fine and subdued tannins.
