Vintage after vintage the Bay of Fires team lead by Penny Jones makes outstanding Pinot Noir. The fruit for the 2020 release is drawn from premium vineyards in the wine growing regions of Tasmania.
Michele's notes: Medium depth with flashes of magenta. Enticingly aromatic with dark cherry/berry fruits, wet stone, char and Christmas cake spices. These are classic Bay of Fires Pinot attributes.
Lithe and juicy in the mouth with cherry, freshness combines with layers and layers of flavour and a particularly sleek texture to give a beautifully poised pinot experience. Every mouthful shows a new nuance. Hint of liquorice and fine, chalky tannins round out the experience. It is a supremely classy wine.
