Dog Point is a top Marlborough producer, consistently producing some of the best wines in New Zealand. It was founded by Ivan and Margaret Sutherland (who had planted vines in Marlborough in the early '70s). While working at Cloudy Bay, Ivan met James Healy and the pair launched the Dog Point label in 2004.
Made from the oldest chardonnay vines in Marlborough, notable the famed Mendoza clone. A hint of gun-flint, bold citrus and white peach with a touch of barley sugar at the end. Deft handling gives fine structure and a clean finish.
