Long term devotees of Tasmanian pinot would remember the Huon Valley 'Elsewhere' label from the late '80s and '90s. The original founders, Eric & Jette Phillips sold the vineyard in the late '90s and it had been in a state of transition until owners Owen and Eve Knight set about restoring it to pristine and productive state once more.
The original name was coined by the Phillips' daughter in response to the standard southern Tasmanian weather report of 'showers south of Hobart, fine elsewhere'.
