Henskens Rankin of Tasmania is a new label by winemakers Frieda Henskens and David Rankin, pitched at the luxury end of the Tasmanian sparkling market.
2011 Henskens Rankin Vintage: Pretty florals, nougat and nuttiness as the flavours build in the mouth.Made from 70% chardonnay, 30% pinot noir, fruit sourced from Coal River Valley, Norfolk Bay and north-west Tasmania. Minimum six years on lees.
2014 Henskens Rankin Triple Wild Ferment Blanc de Blancs: Wild yeasts are used at every stage of production. The result is a beautifully textured, nectar-like sparkling wine with sweet citrus, praline and pitch perfect acidity.
