One of the original producers of Central Otago, Nevis Bluff has been producing premium Pinot Noir since 1999. The name comes from the striking rock formation in the Gibbston Valley where the original vineyard was planted. Nevis Bluff now sources all fruit from the L’Attitude vineyard in the warmer Lowburn sub-region. Nevis Bluff Pinots are aged prior to release.
Nevis Bluff 2014 Reserve Pinot Noir: Lovely clarity of fruit - briary, punchy and juicy with excellent textural graininess. Savoury umami kicks in too. Very good weight and balance. Classy wine.
